ABOUT THIS PIECE

This was the first time I’ve even photographed KISS. It was their Australian tour together with Mötley Crüe and opener Thin Lizzy. It marked their 40th anniversary. I was on tour with Guns N’ Roses and just flew from Perth to Sydney that day. Gn’R guitar player Richard Fortus also played with Thin Lizzy at that time and that’s how I got myself into shooting the show. I was blown away seeing and shooting all 3 bands for the first time ever
