"Sly’s music had such a scintillating vitality and that’s exactly how I found him to be in person. I went to a house in Hollywood to shoot and hung out there for a day with the ‘family’. At one point Sly was dancing with his wife, Kathy, the two of them hugging their new baby with obvious delight. An image of that moment ended up as the cover for his Small Talk album." -- Norman Seeff
