Rasta comes to New York. When Bob Marley performed at the Academy of Music in 1974, the verdict was still out whether reggae would play big in the Big Apple. By the end of the show, Marley had conquered Manhattan. By the way, there must have been more ganja smoked that night in the Academy than any other in the history of that venerable venue. -- Richard E. Aaron
