December 17, 1972, Tokyo, Japan. Bob Hope was on his last Christmas tour stopping in Alaska, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Diego Garcia, Guam, Wake, and a few other stops. Hope was always 'on', his producer & I once went with him to a Tokyo golf range where he had everyone doubled over in laughter, even though no one spoke English. He was that kind of guy. I spent many a time on that tour rolling around on the floor laughing hysterically.
